Ladder

A Quick-Guide

  • You are shown as a blue field. If you are not shown as a blue field, you are not logged in and thus you are not recognized as a player.
  • Players you can challenge are shown as red fields. To determine who you could challenge count your level on the pyramide and reduce that number by one. This is the number of ranks in front of you which you could challenge.
Potential opponents who already have an open challenge or are locked in any other way (see the Ladder rules 11. and 12.) are shown as gray fields though.
If neither red nor gray fields are shown, this can have different reasons:
    • You have an open challenge.
    • You have to wait 24 hours to challenge again.
    • If you are not shown as blue field either, you are not logged in.
  • Inactive clan members are indicated by light red names.
  • Clan members who left the clan are represented by wild cards displayed in light green. They behave like inactive members, but will be deleted as soon as they drop to the end of the ladder.
  • To challenge someone click on the rank in the red field. If you confirm your challenge, a thread is created automatically in the 1v1 Ladder Forum. Use this thread to arrange a match date with your opponent.
  • After the match, set the winner in the Open Challenges table by selecting the player name in the dropdown box and click 'OK'. A post will be created in the respective challenge thread which states who you announced as winner. When both, you and your opponent have set the result, the new ranking is calculated. Read the ladder rules for further information.
  • Check the 1v1 Ladder Forum on a regular basis or keep a close eye on the Open Challenges table to learn if you got challenged.

Rules

Ladder rules

  1. You can only challenge higher ranks than yours.
  2. Each challenge has to be accepted.
  3. A challenge has to be fought within 7 days.
  4. As long as you have an open challenge you are neither challengeable nor can you challenge someone else.
  5. As soon as both players set the correct result within 7 days, the challenge will be closed and both are challengeable again.
  6. If the players set different results, this is shown as a referee decision in the Open Challenges table and posted in the challenge thread. In this case contact a referee.
  7. If only one player sets the result within 7 days, only his result will be counted.
  8. If noone sets the result, the challenger wins. This means you can challenge inactive clan members. After 7 days, those games will count as a victory for the challenger.
  9. In case that the opponents can't agree on a match date each player sets himself as the winner. A referee decision will follow.
  10. After a challenge is closed, the challenging player can't challenge for one day.
  11. After a challenge is closed, the challenged player can't be challenged for one day.
  12. The same player pairing can only challenge each other again one day after their challenge was closed.
  13. New players will be added to the end of the pyramid. In case there is a wild card available, they obtain the rank of the wild card.

Match rules

  1. Every match is played as a 1 on 1 match.
  2. The match has to be played with the eft//1v1 config.
  3. Each match consists of at least 2 rounds. After each round, the teams are switched. If there is a draw after the second round, another 2 rounds are played with the challenger starting as axis first again. If there is still a draw another round is played until there is no draw.
  4. One round lasts 5 minutes.
  5. The player with the lower death count wins. Seflkill, fallen to death etc are allowed but are counted as deaths.
  6. The map will be decided by elimination from the map pool. The challenged player starts with the process.
  7. The challenger starts as axis.
  8. The only allowed class is Field Ops.
  9. The only allowed weapons are SMG, Pistol, Knife and Grenade. Usage of any other weapon might result in a forfeit loss of the map.
  10. Both players have the right to pause the match one time per round. You can pause the game by typing /pause in console. For resuming type /unpause.
  11. If a player gets disconnected within the first three minutes of a round, the round will be replayed, otherwise the latest result is counted for that round. If reconnecting is not possible or the player gets disconnected again, he loses the match.
  12. Spectators are allowed on the server, but they are not allowed to be in the same teamspeak channel as the players.
  13. If the server crashes during the match, the particular round in which the server crashed must always be replayed.
